Barbie in the 12 dancing princesses dvd

This movie is so good! I love it. It really appeals to the little girl in me, while it's still entertaining and fun to watch as a teenager. It's got all the classic romance, princess-fairy-tale elements, pretty dresses, ballet, wonderful music and magical 'happy-ever-after' ending.

The movie theme is beautiful. I wish they released a soundtrack. Shine, the music video that is part of the special features, is an awesome song. The music video is just clips from the movie, but the song itself is great. Cassidy Ladden has a really good voice. She also sings the pop version of "I Need to Know" from the Island Princess. She's the voice of Teresa/Alexa in the Diamond Castle, and she's the voice of Teresa/Vevecca in the upcoming "Barbie and the Three Musketeers."

The dance scenes are nearly perfect. The choreography is really good, and the skirts move quite naturally. I'm a dancer myself, and I like to practice using the same steps and music. The only flaw is that in one dance scene, when all the sisters dance in a line, Courtney, the third from the oldest, seems to be supported by a blue arrow or something. Maybe it's just my dvd.

I don't know why they listed this item twice. But either way, it's a great movie and worth every penny. Enjoy!
