BARBIE Party Cruise

Hi all,
I got this Barbie Party Cruise ship for my 8 yo. for Christmas & for her to share w/younger sisters (ages 5yo.& 3 1/2yo.)It's been a while since Christmas but, they still are enjoying it. More so now that her sisters are getting bigger. They actually have fun using it with other smaller dolls as well. Although, I haven't let them fill it with water yet I'm sure they will like that too. The quality is pretty good. Closing is a little challenging, it sort of snaps at hinges but her being older is not a problem. It offers plenty of play/imagination space but, I think I like the design of some of the older ships how they open a little better. But, I do see how it makes it easier for younger girls who might struggle with larger dolls & fitting them inside. I like how everything stores nicely inside with room for some extras & Barbies. It fits nicely on top of her portable closet & I'm sure would fit most shelves for tidying up. But, I will say this one stayed open for some time after Christmas before I was able to close it up for a bit:) Now it is back out for Spring play! Ohh... Almost forgot!!! They love the ship sounds, dolphin & dance music it plays! I laugh at how it reminds me of a 70's disco. LOL! My daughters favorite accessory is the dolphin that she lovingly named "Dinah" (after her grandma Diane) Thank you for the perfect Christmas gift! Lisa, from Ct.

My daughter who is 8 asked for this ship for Christmas. She plays with it alot. She loves the disco ball and the pool the most. We were very happy with Amazon and will purchase again.

I bought this for my three year old almost 11 months ago, she loves to play with her barbies and plays with it but it wont last much longer. So far I think 6 pieces broke and the boat doesn't really close anymore. It feels like it is going to crack everytime I take it out. I don't know why they are making these toys so cheap..I really don't want to buy any of the newer products. The sounds are way to loud too, it even bothers her!

Don't waste your money.... Tons of little pieces -- took about 2 hours to assemble for our 5 year old. After paying 50 bucks for it, our daughter only played with it once. There are TONS AND TONS of small pieces that can easily get lost if you have plush carpet or dogs. IMO, not nearly worth the money or the hassle.

This was bought for my granddaughter's birthday while on an out-of-town weekend. She wanted the Barbie house, but I didn't want to spend the money so she got the cruise ship (at 1/3 of the price) based on the reviews, and she loves it. It didn't take long to put on the stickers or to set it up thanks to the 20-something girls who immediately jumped in to check it out. It kept her busy while the adults did their thing. I think she enjoyed packing it up and setting it up as much as she did playing with it. It is great that all the pieces pack up nicely inside the ship. Also, the adults enjoyed playing with it too! She is not that big on playing with the dolls but there are so many other things that she did with it. She couldn't wait to get home so she could fill the pool for the dolphin.
