Barbie Girls 1GB MP3 Player - Pink - Store 240 Songs!

Such a great low cost alternative to an ipod for a younger girl. She loves it and uses it all the time. We have had it since Christmas and no damage yet even with 2 younger siblings running around. My husband bought me a Zune at the same time and he hada much easier time getting this set up than he did with mine.

Unless you let your dog destroy it (like the one I bought previously), it's a rather durable device. My 6 year old daughter is having a great time with it and saving a little money to buy the accessories herself. Easy to synchonize via Windows Media Player, we share a nice time when we manage the playlist. Good quality for the price.

I bought a new laptop about a month ago. My youngest daughter age 6 really wanted an i-pod like her older siblings and we thought this was a nice alternative for her age at a fraction of the cost (we paid $[...]) Had trouble installing software and Mattel help line tried unsuccessfully to assist after verifing system was compatible. We finally figured out the problem and successfully installe software by googling the troubleshoot. After the software was installed it simply said to plug doll and dock into USB and nothing happened. Called Mattel again who suggested plugging the doll directly into the USB skipping the docking station. Still nothing. Called Geek Squad at Best Buy and they had no possible explanation except the unit might be bad. Exchanged at Target for a new one and still nothing happened. Mattel finally simply agreed to send coupons in the amount of purchase price for future Mattel purchase. Three days spent on this, and today I am going to go buy an i-pod.....what I should have done to begin with!

this is easy to brak and not that loud in order to hear the music comes with cheap earphones.

BOUGHT THIS FOR MY THREE YEAR OLD BECAUSE SHE WANTED AN MP3 AND THIS WAS UNDER $20.00 AT CHRISTMAS TIME. IT WAS WORTH EVERY CENT. THE OUTFITS, FACES, SHOES...ARE FUN TO CHANGE AND THIS IS AS EASY TO LOAD AS MOST MP3s. IT USES WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER AND IS EASILY RECOGNIZED BY YOUR COMPUTER EVEN IF YOU DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE CD (WHICH I DID NOT). IT COMES PRELOADED WITH THE BARBIE GIRL SONG AND IS NOT DIFFICULT TO OPERATE. I BOUGHT THIS SOLELY AS A MUSIC PLAYER AND HAVE NOT BOTHERED WITH ONLINE FEATURES AND PROBABLY NEVER WILL. MY THREE YEAR OLD IS ABLE TO LISTEN TO MUSIC WITH THIS CLIPPED (CLIP INCLUDED) TO HER SHIRT. tHE EAR PHONES WERE A NICE SET WITH DIFFERENT EAR PIECES LIKE SOME OF THE MORE EXPENSIVE ONES. BECAUSE SHE WAS THREE I BOUGHT HER SOME OLD FASHIONED OVER THE HEAD EAR PHONES AND KEPT THE ONES THAT CAME WITH THIS FOR MYSELF. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS.
