Barbie Horse Styling Head

My granddaughter just loves the Barbie Horse Styling Head. She spends hours fixing this beautiful horses hair and loves how the mane changes color. Adding ice cubes to the water helps hair change color. Glad I bought the horse styling head.

I wish I had gotten her a doll head instead. She had more fun with her sisters Bling, Bling Stylin' head doll.

Santa brought this item to my daughter for Chrismas and she was so excited to get it. She wanted it open as soon as she recieved it. When we finally got it open and everything all set up and read the instructions nothing that it said it did worked. The hair did not change color and the eyeshadow didn't come off. We tried even using ice cubes instead of the little curling iron thing that came with it. Still no luck. My daughter still plays with it but it is not her favorite toy.

List price is almost $30.It was on sale for $9.99 at Amazon.My 5 year old chose this toy online and she likes it.The crown and jewel stickers are pretty,but the hairclips don't really work.When she runs the curling iron through the hair nothing happens,because the water isn't cold enough to turn it pink.The ice cubes were too big to fit in the curling iron,so I just set a cup of ice water for her to dip the brush into.

My daughter just HAD to have this head, we opened it up and discovered that the eyeshadow stuff doesn't change color and neither does the hair, (yes we followed the instructions for this) a lot of the little hair accessories broke within the first day, and it's nearly impossible for my daughter to use them in her hair, so that frustrated her. I definately would not purchase one of these again. It now just sits in her closet, oh well!
