Mattel Barbie Mermaid Falls Playset

My 4 yr old daughter received this toy for Christmas and it has been great. I was hesitant to purchase it due to the many negative reviews, but I'm glad I did. This toy has been used daily for over a month and we haven't had any issues with it- the slide works perfectly, the swing does not come off and it attaches to both of our bathtubs without issue. The water pump also works great. I wonder if we got a new version of this toy, since we haven't had any of the issues that others mentioned. My only complaint is that the mermaid doll that comes with it doesn't float but my daughter doesn't seem to mind. We also got the Barbie Flower Shower doll and that one is a great companion to this play set, since the doll can fit on the swing, chair and slide and she also floats. The full size mermaid doll can't go down the slide, but she can sit on the swing. Overall, this is a very good toy for bathtime fun.

This waterslide sticks to your bathtub walls with suction cups and provides tons of entertainment for bathtime. My five year old loves it and brings all her Barbies in with her too. Well worth the price for the amount of fun it gives.

I bought this for my 9 yr old daughter for Christmas. If installed correctly, it works great! She uses all of her Barbie's and Mermaid dolls with it. She also plays with in and out of the tub! The swing works perfect, the little waterfall is cute and the slide is a BIG hit!! I highly recommend this toy for anyone with a child that plays in the tub. All the bad reviews must be from people who let their child put it together or broke a piece. The price was just right for what we received. The doll that came with it was very cute! I actually bought this toy at ToysRUS in the store, so I wasn't able to post a review on their website. I saw the negative reviews here so I needed to post a positive review!! This toy is worth every penny!!

I can't get the slide to stay on! I'm going to have to duct tape it. It's so very cute, but the slide coming off all the time is ridiculous!

We bought this toy for our daughter's fourth birthday. She and her sister were so excited. Well, we couldn't get the slide to snap in - we tried several times and various ways. Finally, we duct taped it on because the girls wanted to play with it so badly. The chair doesn't hold a full size Barbie mermaid like in the picture. The chair holders just fall off, and it is tilted such that a full size doll falls out. Finally, the suction cups didn't work on our tile. It fell off the wall 4 times within 10 minutes. We gave up on it at that point.
