Mattel Barbie Styling Head

CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR 2-yr. old, she loves it, according to her Mom! She adores Barbie and any and all things Barbie, so of course, this was perfect for her, as "Glamor" is her middle name, the flashier the better for our Ava! She loves to "do hair" and stick "pretties" in her own hair, though she desn't have much hair to hold the "pretties" so the long, pretty golden hair on the Barbie head really appealed to her, as it would most little girls.

I bought these for my 5 year old triplets for Christmas this year. They enjoy them a lot. The removable puppy is fun for them. They also like the 'share and wear' hair accessories and necklace that come with the doll. I would recommend this product to anyone with little girls who like to fix hair... it sure helps save mommy from having to play beauty shop for hours on end!

I got two of these Barbie heads, for my 4 year-old and my 2 year old. The head is not like the one I remember from my youth--seems much cheaper. The hair is not really combable, and tangles and pulls out of the head. Also, the base is small, so it tips over very easily, and can be a little frustrating. Cheap clips for her hair were hard to remove from the packaging without breaking. I would try a different head than this one. Also, the price on Amazon currently is over $60.00. You can buy at Target for $20.00, and even that was too much for this less-than satisfying toy.
