Barbie Rapunzel Cut And Style

My daughter really wanted this doll. The snap on hair extentions seem like a great idea but the execution is poorly done. The plastic snap pieces are fixed to the hair with folded over hair and a rubber band. After one day of light play one had already been pulled off by my 7 year old. Not to mention the hair tangling all up! Braiding all the pieces would have helped. I wish the makers of Barbie would spend less time making the doll look beautiful in the box and more time thinking about how the little girls are going to play with them.

I wasn't sure how to cut the barbies hair or how that would work out. After opening the doll and seeing that you actually snap the hair peices together and use the "scissors" to unsnap the peices this was a pleasant surprise. No messy hair to clean up or problems with the hair being too short eventually. Great toy.

My daughter is 7 and enjoyed playing with Barbie and cutting her hair. The clips stay on ok and the brush worked well with the dolls hair.

My daughter also loves this doll, but again, the hair extensions become so tangled with the use from my 4 year old daughter, that I have now thrown two of them out. I wished Mattel had made the extensions better. All of the little flowers on the hair extensions fell off, and I am sure we will eventually have the problem with the extension left of them getting tangled as well. I wish there was a way you could just buy some more extensions.

My 4 and 1/2 year old daughter loves this doll. All the hair things are fun for her to play with, and she is a lovely looking barbie...However, the hair-- which is the point if this doll-- get TERRIBLY tangled, very easily! And it is very hard to detangle without ripping some out every time. I would think that the makers would have made the hair much more workable, seeing that the girls playing with it were going to be doing things with the hair so much!
